Business Systems Analyst - Sydney

An opportunity currently exists for an energetic, result driven team player to join our Business Applications team in our Group Support Office based in Sydney.

As our successful candidate you will be required to possess;

• Experience working with ERP systems
• Advanced Query 400 for iSeries report writer skills
• Experience working with SQL
• Experience with Disaster Recovery applications (Desirable)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word (Desirable)
• Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline is preferred

Day to day, your responsibilities will include;

• Managing and maintaining ERP user accounts and access
• Developing and implementing new and modified reports from ERP system database using Query 400 and MS Excel
• Providing day-to-day support to ERP system users
• Period end & ad hoc reporting
• Managing escalated problems with specialist providers
• Monitoring ????? ????? High Availability (HA) software
• Implementing upgrades and/or additions to the operating system and/or HA system
• Providing efficient and effective support to IT staff in resolving second and third level IT service issues
• Participating in the development and testing of disaster recovery procedures for the purposes of business continuity
• Leading or participate in Technical Projects and recommend technical solutions
• Promoting and provide good documentation and ensure documentation is up to date

NB - Due to the nature of this role, only candidates with experience in using ERP Systems and Query 400 for iSeries will be considered!
