Senior Product Manager - Food and Wine

The newly-created Metropolitan Media business at Fairfax Media encompasses the leading print and digital publications of The Sydney Morning Herald & The Age, Digital Publishing, Fairfax Magazines and Fairfax Community Newspapers.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to develop and manage products that grow revenue and market share for a new verticle – Food & Wine.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

gather and translate user requirements into winning product features to meet revenue, market share and customer satisfaction goals

manage the rollout of product improvements with our team of developers, product managers, marketing, and customer service teams

demonstrate your skills in improving the user experience with the support of the team

Experience

To be successful in this role you must possess an inherent passion for the user experience and the internet, and be able to demonstrate:

8+ years' experience in the development and commercialisation of websites, and leading cross-discipline teams
Significant experience in managing stakeholders and wide management groups

Enjoy problem solving and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail

Experience in gathering ????? ????? business and customer requirements, and translating into detailed functional specifications

First-rate communication skills including writing proposals, design briefs, user specification reports; and excellent presentation and training skills

Based in Pyrmont, this is an autonomous role which requires a highly-organised, astute and proactive professional accustomed to multi-tasking and dealing with conflicting priorities.
