Senior Database Administrator

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Database Administrator to join our well established client in Sydney. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring ????? ????? systems and environments are;


* supported and maintained to externally contracted and internally agreed service level, availability and performance metrics
* maintained to acceptable levels of documentation for quality and industry frameworks and standards
* changed in compliance with internal change management standards and in agreed timeframes
You will also provide technical support of SQL Server instances and applications and assist in other agreed software applications.

To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- At least 7 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with contributing to a SQL development environment and design team
- Deep SQL Server analytical skills and database performance optimisation
- Direct experience with SQL Server HA and DR
- Previous experience with payment card industry related software or financial services software
- Experience within an ISO, TQM or other Quality Assurance Framework \
- Familiarity with associated Infrastructure disciplines in the Server, OS and Networking domains.
