Their success is measured through the value added service they provide to their partners and this new position is an integral part of that service provision. As an independent person, the position will be based within the solutions team of a leading system integrator assisting with the volume presales and quoting work . The key responsibility of the role will be to develop configurations from various suppliers using the input and technical requirements of the customer based on their knowledge.
There are specific skills absolutely necessary to be considered for the role, as follows:
- You must have solid knowledge of Cisco networking and Unified Communications (tools, programs, Routers, Switches, WLAN)
- A CCNA certification as a bare minimum and any other qualifications will be welcomed
- Exposure to any Cisco security solutions, IP Telephony and/or video solutions as extra skill sets
- Pre-Sales experience with CISCO and BoM over a couple of years is a minimum requirement but with additional commercial skills other than CISCO as well.
- Willing and able to use initiative, meet deadlines, go the extra mile
- Learn new skills and products quickly, ensure follow up and a big attention to detail
The role is permanently client facing so you MUST have excellent and fluid English communication skills with the ability to develop and build relationships quickly along with sound negotiation and listening skills.
