This privately owned company with ???aff is located in the South West of Sydney. They are growing year on year and have a very broad business.

An opportunity has become available to join this medium sized IT team that pride themselves on hard work and enjoying the environment they work in! In this role you will be responsible for the 3rd level support of their desktop and server environments and taking ownership of the vendor relationships.

We are seeking a candidate:

• Who has 5 + years experience supporting Microsoft technologies.
• That holds an MCSE or equivalent.
• Who can demonstrate excellent 3rd level support knowledge of Server 2003 and 2008.
• That has at least 2 years 3rd level support experience.
• Who has experience liaising with Tier 1 vendors (i.e. DELL, Microsoft, IBM etc).
• Who is able to show strong knowledge of VPN, Antivirus and Systems Management tools.
• That has outstanding communication skills and is customer service centric.
• With demonstrated experience adhering ????? ????? and achieving KPIs.

And on a daily basis you will:

• Support the Microsoft Servers alongside the XP and Window 7 Desktops.
• Be key contact for all escalation issues to vendor.
• Work to deliver projects as designated by your line manager.
• Manage daily backups.
• Support clients by phone and in person.
• Work as a senior member of this support team offering ????? ????? less experienced staff.
• Deploy desktop application upgrades as required.
