Our client has seen rapid development over the past year and in order to meet increased consumer demand, they are now looking to introduce a Junior Pre-Sales Consulting Executive to join their team of highly experienced specialists in Sydney. This is an exciting role for any Graduate with an interest in both Business Development and IT/Software.
This unique role requires someone who is going to feel at home in a flexible work environment and varied working hours. You will join a close-knit team of consultants and must be able to work autonomously. You will be trained by ProGrad and supported and mentored by the Sales Director personally. Unlike most entry level roles, you will be given responsibility and independence early on and the right candidate will find fast progression easy to achieve.
Key Responsibilities: - Create and update prospective customer lists using trade directories and other sources.
- Proactively source, communicate to and acquire new business prospects and manage ongoing client requirements.
- Maintain contact with current clients in relation to software and user issues and manage ongoing communication e.g., newsletters, blogs, events and website.
- Assess clients' business requirements and communicate with suppliers where necessary in order to resolve software problems.
- Demonstrate relevant software applications and play a key role in building initial software prototypes.
- Train customers in the basic use of information systems.
- Monitors customers' changing needs and competitor activity, and report on these developments to the Sales Director.
The right candidate will have: - Good understanding of IT
- Great verbal and written communications
- Good presentation skills and the confidence to meet with a variety of clients including MDs and CEOs
- Proactive nature and strong ability to multitask and follow through
- Highly motivated, well-organised and great attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
Based in a fantastic Ultimo location, this entry level role will provide any Graduate with great exposure into the Business and IT world and there will be ample opportunity to progress under the direct supervision of the Sales Director.
