Working with a close knit team based in Sydney, this SQL database administration position is responsible for the overalladministration andmanagement ofdatabase infrastructure and services for a large, Australian environment. Responsible for the management ofmultiple production databases, you should have a strong background inMS SQL, and have solid experience in database administration including reporting, alerts, analysis and performance tuning.You should haveexperiencewith full lifecycle environments from development to production,and experience within a high availability environment is essential.


Working as the SQLspecialist in the team, you should have extensive experience with:

• MS SQL server 2005 / 2008;
• Administration, backup and security of database environments;
• SSRS, SSASand SSIS development and support;
• Monitoring ????? ????? tuning;
• Server optimisation;
• Consolidation, management and implementation ofadatabase environment;
• A range of database platforms and technologies (eg. Virtualisation, high-availability mechanisms etc);
