Helpdesk Analyst

- Based in the South Eastern suburbs
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Helpdesk Analyst to join their IT team.
This is a 3 month contract, based in the South Eastern suburbs.

This position as Helpdesk Analyst will see you provide level 1 support - providing phone and email support to a large internal user base.
You will be the first point of contact for all internal users. You will be responsible for logging all incoming calls and resolving both hardware and software issues. This will include: Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite and Active Directory as well as a number of in-house applications.
To be considered for this position, you must have solid skills and previous experience supporting and troubleshooting Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, in-house applications and hardware peripherals.
In particular, any of the following experience would be highly regarded:
- Previous experience working within local government
- Previous experience supporting any of the following applications: FinanceOne, Pathway and TRIM
To be successful in this position as Helpdesk Analyst, you will also need to have:
- A strong customer service focus - be an enthusiastic team member, be friendly, personable and willing to assist users
- Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Strong problems solving and troubleshooting skills
- The ability to multi-task and manage priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- You will also need to be a quick learner and have the ability to pick up new skills quickly
Previous working experience in a similar role required. An IT related tertiary qualification together would be well regarded.
