Sales Order Service Manager - APAC

    Global IT organisation specialising in application delivery infrastructure systems.     Role

    They are seeking a people focussed, hands-on Regional (APAC) Manager to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Australian and Japanese Sales Order Processing operations. Reporting to the US based Director you will have 5 direct reports and approximately 50 indirect reports across your territory.

    Requirements

    • Ability to lead and motivate a large team and sustain key stakeholder relationships, whilst making strategic business decisions and applying problem solving skills to ensure effectiveness and minimise risk.
    • A strong technical aptitude
    • Proven track record managing multiple responsibilities, teams and projects
    • Travel to Asia (quarterly) and USA (1-2 times p.a.)

    Background

    5 years' management experience in salesorder management,customer service and/or operations combined with an understanding of enterprise applications and aptitude to understand system communications/interdependencies. Financial awareness PLUS a strong peoplefocus and team management experience.

    Technical & Education

    • Strongprocess knowledge/experience (hands-on)
    • SAP, Oracle, Siebel or any ERM/CRM system plus high proficiency in MS Office.
    • Bachelor's Degreeor equivalentessential
