Rio Tinto Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) is charged with delivering ????? ????? business system environment called the Rio Tinto Business Solution of which SAP is the core components of it. The Business Solution enabled integrated processes related to Contact to Cash (CTC), Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Manage Mining & Processing (MMP), Manage People (MP), Manage Physical Assets (MPA), Plan and Manage (PAM) and Purchase to Pay areas.

Based in Perth and reporting to Principal Consultant - APAC Business Process Consulting, the primary purpose of this role is to contribute to a team to successfully implement, maintain and improve the Rio Tinto common business process solution for Business Units in the APAC region; meeting time, cost, quality and user acceptance criteria. This will be done by ensuring ????? ????? and engagement between BU stakeholders, users and delivery team (internal and outsourced) to delivery customer needs within the global standards and processes. The successful candidate will either be responsible for the Manage People (MP) or Plan and Manage (PAM) process areas with specific experience in SAP HR or SAP FI/CO.

The key accountabilities include:

• Local representative of the specific process team in the region


• Contribute to the improved utilisation of the SAP and other MP solutions at implemented business units.


• Act as regional co-ordinator of all process sponsored initiatives in your region. Initiate and facilitate programmes of work to enhance value for business units.


• Continuous improvement of the relevant aspects of business process model to incorporate leading practice and drive towards commonality in business process, data and key performance indicators.


• Utilise technical SAP knowledge to consult with business units in the region and improve business processes.


• Contribute to business process and system requirements from your area of expertise.


• Design and document business processes and requirements.


• Take assigned roles in testing, data management, and integration.


• Address integration issues with other business process models.


• Contribute to collaborative groups operating in relevant subject areas.


• Deliver assigned tasks to time, cost and quality targets.


• Support the transition support process in your key areas of influence.


• Develop collaborative and supportive relationships with your extended business process team, Subject Matter Experts, other key stakeholders in your region and team members of others teams.


• Explore and build understanding of the process support operations in Rio Tinto.


• Further specific roles, tasks and projects as assigned by your manager or the Program Manager.
