Company profile:
The company we represent has a deliverable to the public in the interest of transport and logistics.
This role is based internally within an End User Environment in Collins Street Melbourne.
They require an end to end Network Engineer who can manage vendor relationships, Implement the latest Cisco suite of Data Centre products and maintain a internal Network.
Within this role you will deal with the Vendor, and Integrator Partners.
Initially there is a 6 month contract available at a rate of $600 Per Day
One of the task required assistance in is to amalgamate two internal Networks to comply with new company policy.

Skills sets and experience required:
- At least 5 years end user or Integrator experience managing and implementing Cisco Data Networking products, in a real world environment.
- Experience in design of Cisco Networks would be desirable but not mandatory
- Advanced Data Networking support experience
- Please note the core Network is MPLS

What Technologies are in our client's network? (Cisco)
- Layer 2/3 OSPF, BGP, HSRP, VRRP, Spanning Tree and Ether Channel
- DNS, DHCP, Firewalls and Proxy servers.
- ADSL, ATM, FRAME RELAY, PPP, HDLC, IPSEC
