An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Melbourne technology group in a development role.

    Role Responsibilities
    Working as part of Dun & Bradstreet's IT team, you will provide effective IT solutions to business problems. This will include project estimation, business analysis and documentation of business requirements, contributing to the design of the business solution and integration of the solution into the business. Your responsibilities will be varied and will include:
    • Working with business units to identify, analyse and document business requirements.
    • Creation of functional specifications.
    • Assisting solutions architects in understanding business drivers.
    • Assisting the test team with test strategies and test planning.
    • Assisting the business with their change management.
    • Identifying, analyzing and documenting issues/risks, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Mentoring ????? ????? more junior team members.
    The successful candidate will demonstrate:
    • Strong track record in a Business Analyst role within a commercial environment.
    • Experience in software development projects.
    • Completion of a tertiary IT qualification.
    • Strong understanding of the principles of business system design, database concepts and of the systems development lifecycle.
    • Analytical skills and creativity in problem solving and recommending/implementing solutions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Continuous process improvement focus.
