My client is a well established software vendor with a vast range of clients across the ANZ region. With a strong range of software products & demand for their services continuing to rise they are an excellent company to work for. With exciting new technology projects in place to upgrade their databases & systems & technical environment in the long term they are now looking for an experienced C++ Developer to join their ranks.

I am looking for fluent C++ Developers with a strong understanding of the SDLC and good experience in a windows environment. The successful applicant should have a relevant IT degree & a good grounding in IT concepts/ theories & be always looking to improve their skill-set. You will have experience developing real-time systems and can demonstrate complexity in your work with experience working on products.Any experience/interest with UI etc(User Interfaces) would also be highly regarded.

A good understanding in general of the principles of Object Orientated programming (OO, OOA, OOD)with specifc focus on C++ is pretty much essential for this position.

This is a varied role, working in a product development environment, mainly working on enhancements, new releases, upgrades, bug fixes etc of existing software (Financial Software). You will be working on designing & developing & maintaining this software on an ongoing basis. The ability to document your work & work to in-house development standards is key. Good problem solving skills relating to resolving 3rd/4th level support issues is critical so good diagnostic & analytical skills are key.

You will be working in a team of 6, so the ability to share good ideas, best practice is essential as the ability to contribute effectively in Peer Code Reviews.
