Service Delivery Manager / Vendor Manager - Oracle ERP

As a key member of the Technology Leadership Team, the Service Delivery Manager is responsible for contributing to and owning the delivery of effective maintenance, support and enrichment of services to ensure the availability and quality of the services that are provided meet or exceed contractual commitments, as agreed with the outsourced supplier.

The aim of this role is to ensure optimal delivery of software products and services to all areas of the organisation. You will also be responsible for:

• Performance reviews with suppliers and the business on a regular basis
• Identify areas of improvement for additional functionality and provide business cases where necessary, aligned within approved budget and agreed timeframes
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, vendors
• Contribute to the organisations IT and Business Services Strategies
• Manage IT delivery risks and ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements

Experience required:

• 8+ years experience in senior technology roles
• Demonstrated experience in a service delivery management role in a medium to large corporation.
• Experience in managing Oracle Applications and Packaged software solutions implementation and maintenance in a medium to large business environment
• Functional Oracle ERP HR, Payroll and Finance experience is desirable
• Resource, vendor and contract management experience
• Strong SDLC, ITIL and service management discipline knowledge and experience
• Demonstrated experience in delivering/supporting major business solutions into production/implementation
• Strong people leadership experience with the ability to negotiate to achieve optimal outcome
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills – ability to communicate with non-technical customers
• Proven track record of successful ongoing provision of a critical technology service to budget and quality management
