Experienced Applications Manager required to-lead and influence the technical future of an organisation, located in the centre of Melbourne.

Reporting directly to the head of IT, you will be responsible for developing an in-house applications support team for the management of the most business critical systems, managing external applications, supporting delivery and defining the Applications strategy and roadmap for the company.

This is a varied role that will see you mentor and develop the Application team, manage IT initiatives, develop the Application roadmap for the company and assist in developing the strategic IT direction of the organisation.

You will be responsible for the management, direction, guidance and development of the Applications team, ensuring ????? ????? stable, that performance and capacity are monitored and managed and ensure necessary maintenance and upgrades occur successfully. You will also be proactive to ensure service interruptions are avoided where possible and minimised where avoidance is not possible.

This is a critical role for the organisation, so you must be passionate about service, mentoring ????? ????? people, and have the ability to drive change, as well as previous experience managing the delivery of all applications, supporting documentation, optimising the delivery of Applications support services and possess strong vendor relationship & performance management.
