Technology risk and security

This market leading global organisation is currently in need of an experienced Security Manager to work to directly protect the brand of the organisation providing outstanding technology risk, IT and Information security management.

There are 3 aspects to this role which will see you managing and providing guidance and thought leadership across the following functions:

Strategy and Governance - Own the development and execution of the strategy and processes for risk, IT and information security to ensure compliance with security policies and risk frameworks; design and implement proposed strategicarchitecturalbased solutions; Governance of 3rd party providers - onshore and offshore, internal and external.

Projects and Strategic Initiatives - Ensure effective implementation of risk management and security architectures and frameworks, policies, programs and processes; Define framework for all strategic initiatives; Ensure all technology and security risks are identified and mitigated; Manage the review process of project based technology and security risks on projects, processes and systems; Identification of new and emerging risks; Manage local, regional and regulatory IT compliance related matters.

Operational Technology Focus - Asses and/or definesecuritybased architectural solutions to ensure delivery of a secure operating environment (working with technology areas including infrastructure and application dev teams and utilising your technical and architectural skills); Guide and define the strategic definition for new and existingsecuritybased technologies and process - eg/ anti-virus, security patching, Data loss prevention, firewalls, network access control etc
