Our client is looking for a Functional Analyst to work as the functional solution owner for a key project that is in it's very early stages. The Functional Analyst is required to drive the delivery of sound solutions that meet requirements for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the business solution.

Key Responsibilities -

• Analyse, interpret, and translate client's business needs into robust functional and systems requirements.
• Produce functional (use cases, business rules and user interface) and systems requirements documents, within project timeframes, to facilitate successful delivery of this critical business solution.
• Work with extended project team including 3rd parties in a collaborative manner and provide drive to reach agreement on system changes within short timeframes.
• Be capable of identifying, resolving and documenting complex interdependencies between the client and 3rd party systems to ensure successful ongoing system operation.
• Provide updates to the interface specifications for impacted systems as a result of this project.
• Ensure requirements traceability is maintained throughout Functional and Systems requirements.

Experience necessary to achieve this -

• A tertiary qualification in a discipline that requires analysis and understanding of complex process, products, strategy, organisational and customer service is highly desirable.
• Experience in working in medium to large delivery teams (>25 team members)
• Strong experience in analysis and translation of business requirements in complex IT or Telecommunications development projects.
• Experience in Product Development is highly desirable.
• Familiar with Systems Engineering ????? ????? methods.
• Expert understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Time & Cost estimation skills.
• Risk assessment skills.
• Formal requirements gathering ????? ????? analysis techniques including but not limited to developing use cases.
• Good time management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
