Programmer/Analyst
The Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), located at Sydney Olympic Park, receives and processes applications for undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, Educational Access Schemes and Equity Scholarships.
UAC is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Software Unit of our Information Technology Department. This is a full-time continuing position.
As a Programmer/Analyst, you will be expected to work in a team environment to support the maintenance and development of UAC’s web-based applications. UAC utilises Java and Groovy with the Spring ????? ????? frameworks deployed in Apache TOMCAT on UNIX servers and INGRES databases. The position will support existing resources to ensure the efficient and effective running of web-based applications.
Remuneration: The salary range for this position at Grade 7 is $92,501 - $100,779 (includes base salary plus 20% employer superannuation contribution and annual leave loading). Initial appointment to a step within Grade 7 will be based on relevant knowledge and experience.
