This Geelong based organisation is setting the pace within its sector for progressive and innovative advances in IT systems and application developments. This forward momentum has resulted in a new opportunity for a FOUR Java Developers.

Our client is looking for candidates who have proven experience in developing Java, J2EE/JEE applications, experience with SOAP, XML, JMS, EJB and Web services, and Hibernate. Strong experience with Spring is essential and excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital. You will need to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in e-commerce is highly regarded. Responsibilities in the role include maintenance and development of systems and applications and unit test system components, and developing and updating existing system designs and liaising with business analysts and testers.

Experience in WebSphere applications and working in a SOA environment is advantageous. You will have strong experience with JEE development, online application design/development in Unix environments and proven experience in following solid SDLC processes. You will ideally have fairly in-depth experience developing, testing and deploying Internet, Intranet, and enterprise eCommerce technologies in medium to large organisations and will have worked in a busy commercial environment.
