Our client, a large educational organisation based urgently require a Project Manager within their Strategic Costing department to cost a number of large scale IT projects which are currently in the initial phases of development.

This project is designed to take an “activity-based costing” approach in order to better understand current financial and staffing profiles, so that future changes can be managed more effectively. Finance are the key sponsors of this work and other initiatives may also be included in this role.
You will prepare and present executive level reports, business cases and presentations while focusing on the identification and management of risks and issues relating to the projects. Preparation and delivery of reports and documents which may include executive papers, training material, presentations, regular project reporting, business cases and benefit realisation plans is also part of this role.

In order to be considered for this role you will demonstrate your experience in the strategic costing of the successful delivery of complex, medium value ($0.5m to $2m) IT-based projects to schedule and quality expectations. You will also posses knowledge and skills in project management techniques, tools and methodologies, covering ????? ????? of the project life-cycle. Training or accreditation in formal Project Management methodologies (PRINCE2) is preferred.
