We offer the broadest range of end-to-end fiber optic solutions for customers with telecommunications networks. Our customer focused solutions include optical cables, connectors and related hardware.

To support our current expansion, a challenging opportunity has come up for a Technical Sales Support. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support commercial objectives set by the Commercial Carriers Network Team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Reviewing technical specifications, developing system designs or component configurations, generating bills of material, coordinating with operations resources to resolve field issues or further define product performance, and providing technical information
• Organize technical information necessary to implement product changes, address field issues for individual products, assess the specific impact of identified technical issues, and formulate technical recommendations to resolve technical issues.
• Must be able to explain benefits and determine detailed list of part numbers required for a system solution.
• Create datasheets, installation instructions and technical papers as needed.

Required Experience:

1. 1-3 years’ experience relating to Optical Fibre outside plant infrastructure for Carrier Networks – local Australian experience will be highly regarded.
2. Experience with Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) products may be an advantage.
3. Sound technical comprehension of Cables and Passive Optical Fibre products and associated installation practices will be an advantage.

Required Skills:

1. Knowledge of Optical Fibre theory
2. Computers skills (MS Windows based: Power point, Word, Excel, Visio)
