We are currently looking for a talented Network Engineer who would like to develop their knowledge and work in a highly sought after role. Based in Clayton you will provide support, resolution management and troubleshooting across one of Telstra's key Networks.
On a day to day basis you will problem solve in a timely fashion and take ownership of the incident resolutions. You will monitor, respond and repair faults to the network whilst complying with standards and procedures. We have several Networks that require monitoring ????? ?????, HFC, Voice and Mobile. You will be working in a technical team and communicating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered for one of our reputable Network Support roles, you will have previous experience and exposure to supporting a complex network in Level 2/3 support. You will have experience in managing incidents and responding to priority tickets. Transmission network technology experience such as SDH, DWDM or HFC experience would be preferable. A Diploma or Degree in IT, Networking or Computer Science would create an advantage while a Cisco or Juniper qualification will progress your application.
