The Opportunity
Monash University is currently seeking an enthusiastic and innovativeResearch Fellowto join Caulfield School of Information Technology.
The purpose of the position is to conduct research on an intelligent health information portal architecture and other activities within the scope of Element 1, 1.3 Project: "Decision support using optimization, machine learning and constraint programming for supply chain management and eHealth" of the Collaborative Research Network Self-Sustaining Regions Research And Innovation Initiative (CRN-SRRII).
Youwill be part of the Research Program which operates under the Centre for Organisational and Social Informatics(COSI) in the Faculty of IT. Specifically, you will be conducting research in eHealth, focusing on designing systems for intelligent decision support. In addition, you may be required to supervise honours students, high-level undergraduate students or programmers.
To be considered, you will possess aPhD qualification and extensive research experience in the areas of Computer Science or artificial intelligence, with a solid grounding in statistical modelling.
Experience in eHealth research ishighlydesirable.
Appointment will be made at a level appropriate to the successful applicant's qualifications, experience and in accordance with classification standards for each level.
This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
