Valid 'Climbing' Certification Required
This global Telecommunication Infrastructure vendor urgently requires a 'BTS Engineer (Flexi Base Stations: installation, commissioning, integration) with a minimum of 2+ years experience in 3G mobile network rollouts.
Key Responsibilities:
. Preparation and maintenance of site specific installation instructions, guidelines, documentation (Site Folder) for BTS rollouts (Nokia Flexi)
. Follow up the project's implementation schedule and progress and work closely with the Project Team including the Field Managers
. Use Nokia Siemens Networks software tools, interfaces and processes e.g. NOLS ePM, quality process, acceptance process
. Installation, commissioning, integration of BTS equipment when required
. Troubleshoot and assist with any problem solving for implementation issues on site
. Provide technical support for Partners
. Ensure Site Documentation is uploaded within the agreed timeframe so the acceptance process can start
. Checking and approving Site Documentation produced by the Partners
. Carrying out quality assessments and OH&S site audits and recording the results in ePM according to project quality process and reporting requirements.
. Implementation lead times are within agreed timeframe
. Site Implementation Documentation in place on time
Education:
. Technician or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering ????? ????? level of studies according to mentioned degrees
. Valid Climbing (Working on Heights) Certification appropriate for the Telecommunications structures
. Specific Product trainings on NSN BTS installation, commissioning, integration & troubleshooting
Work Experience:
. 2+ years experience in 3G mobile network rollouts, projects.
. 2+ years experience in installation, commissioning, integration and troubleshooting of NSN's 3G Base Stations such as UltraSite Supreme BTSs and Flexi WCDMA BTSs.
. 2+ years experience in configuration of TRS parameters for 3G Base Stations.
