Our client is a leader in the telecommunications industry primarily in the infrastructure space. This company is headquartered in America and has a very successful and independent Australian operation.

There is a vacancy for a Corporate Development Associate in the Sydney base as part of the Corporate Development team which is responsible for identifying investment opportunities and delivering ????? ?????.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Assisting in target identification
• Preparing ????? ?????
• Working with lead negotiators in all aspects of an acquisition (including valuation and pitch creation)
• Developing and maintaining the team's research base:

- Reviewing and setting house views on real estate market forecasts (rental levels and cap rates);
- Overseeing supplementary forecasting to develop Target Market analysis;
- Following trends in capital markets as they relate to various sectors of real estate;
- Contributing to research and strategy projects.

The right candidate will be/have:

• Experience driven from a real estate related acquisitions or strategy team, consulting investment management, developer or private equity fund
• Strong financial background
• Experience with Excel financial modeling
• Thorough understanding of real estate valuations
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of telecommunications industry highly desirable
