Web Project Manger

 

  • Federal Government Contract - Immediate Start

  • Up to $95 per hour ex GST

  • Position responsible for managing a number of web development projects
  • Our Federal Government Client is seeking a technical resource with proven experience in managing web development projects. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with software vendors and various government departments, including business areas within the department, to deliver numerous web projects.

    To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
    Ability to understand, comprehend and develop business rules and government policies for web publishing.
    Experience in analysing business needs to define requirements and develop work specifications, demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills
    Proven experience managing multiple vendors using a contract management approach.
    Proven experience efficiently managing all stages of the project to achieve quality outcomes delivered on time and within the estimated budget.
    Knowledge of web technologies and IT security issues and experience in managing software development projects
    Proven experience in managing projects, demonstrated ability applying project management methodologies to ensure accountability and achieve high quality outcomes within given constraints
    High level communication skills, both orally and in writing, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
