Contract through to end of June 2012 with possible extension

This leading organisation requires a contract Flash Developer (for an Online Learning Project) to play an integral role in the development of online products directed at enhancing staff capability through effective eLearning solutions. You will use your contemporary knowledge and expertise in multimedia languages to develop creative and innovative online products.

Reporting directly to the Manager Capability Design Unit you will be accountable for:

• Design and development of organisational wide online products for delivery, using multimedia technology and ensuring ????? ????? and accessibility design principles are incorporated.
• Sustain and apply contemporary knowledge and expertise in developing rich interactive solutions based on multimedia languages such as ActionScript 3.0, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML.
• Effectively collaborate with team members including Instructional Designers and Graphic Designers to develop creative, innovative, and highly interactive learning solutions.
• Contribute to project plans and scoping proposals for the design, development and implementation of online learning products.
• Develop solutions for identified departmental needs for online learning and development resources, taking into account organisational priorities, content, and delivery process requirements.
• Ensure quality assurance processes are applied in the development of online products.

The successful candidate will have significant industry experience and evidence of integrating good practice principles (i.e. user-centric focus, accessibility and usability) in Flash development and interaction design (preferably for online learning).
