Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Computer Field Technician to join the team and cover the Brisbane CBD and metropolitan areas.
This role is focused on Laptop and PC Warranty repair work & is paid by the incident (per job). Clients will be a mix of home users, corporate, government agencies, & schools.
To be successful you must have experience in break-fix, repairs &general PC knowledge to troubleshoot problems with desktops & laptops.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General hardware repairs on notebooks & PC's
- Re-Installation of software
- Replacement of notebook & PC parts
- Re-imaging
- Record keeping
KEY SKILLS:
- A+ certification highly regarded
- Ability to test & certify PC's & laptops
- Ability to strip down and rebuild laptops and PC's and replace various hardware parts/components
- Be knowledgeable in MS software & configuration / installation of these.
- Excellent analytical & client communication skills
- Professional presentation Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow internal & client procedures
- Flexibility to work across either CBD or Metro areas, as/when required.
Please note: Drivers licence, own car & tools are essential and the role covers the Brisbane CBD(Wintergarden 2km radius) or Metro areas, as required. Pick up of parts is from Eaglefarm each morning, Monday to Friday.
