Systems Engineer

 

This short term contract requires a skilled Deployment Specialist to complete the following:

SKILLS

Experience using MSI for application installation

Experience with execution and troubleshooting of MS SQL server scripts

Ability to quickly familiarise with complex application architectures

Ability to work independently in troubleshooting and remediating MSI installation errors

.NET experience (coding and building C# applications) (Desirable)

DUTIES

Conduct application deployments to a variety of non production environments such as UAT, Staging and Training.

Conduct deployment activities in line with documented procedures and guidelines, incorporating procedural variations identified in the release notes for each build.

Liaise with development staff to again knowledge and understanding of existing practices and procedures for application deployments

Assist development team (where appropriate) with the development of the automation of application build and deployment processes.
