This government organisation based on the Sunshine Coast offers a wide range of important services to a diverse client base. Heavy investment in their Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure has resulted in a number of new initiatives and the need for a Security Analyst to join their ICT services team. Working within this small team will provide good opportunities for development and mentorship from senior analysts.

The successful security analyst will be responsible for a number of areas, primarily checkpoint and firewall management including rules management. Experience with design or implementation will be highly regarded and administration experience will provide an advantage.

You will have experience with McAfee Antivirus and Clearswift combined with a good working knowledge of internet technologies. You will have an understanding of creating online domains, possibly including active directory, and will be knowledgeable of service providers to obtain & manage hosting.
