Team Leader Applications Support

 

  • Permanent full time

  • $91,711 - $98,340 per annum

  • 12.75% super, 17.5% Leave Loading
  • Department of Public Works / Brisbane

    Manage a team through human resource mgmt and operational planning to achieve successful outcomes

    Manage service delivery to ensure services meet client and business requirements and are delivered in accordance with Service Level Agreement

    Provide leadership, guidance and technical coaching and mentoring ????? ????? team and development of staff

    Take the lead in minor projects and manage the development and release of new applications in accordance with departmental standards, guidelines and methodologies

    Provide leadership and ensure best practise standards are followed when using Team Foundation and Build servers in a complex government environment including:

    • Development languages - ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, VB6, MS Access, ASP
    • Databases (SQL Server 2000 to 2005), including SSRS;
    • Microsoft IIS Web Server
    • Source control and service management tools
    • Monitoring ????? ?????

    Implement and direct best practice procedures and disciplines for applications support including SDLC and application testing frameworks

    Assist in capacity and infrastructure planning to ensure the department’s application environment is scalable and allows for further growth

    Maintain an active working knowledge of .NET best practices, emerging trends and departmental and whole of government policies and standards and direct best practice procedures

    Provide expert advice, guidance and technical support to the team, the department and its clients relating to the implementation and management of .NET solutions

    Analyse requests and incidents and provide effective and timely problem management and resolution in line with client service level agreements and departmental processes

    Establish and maintain working relationships with peers, clients and vendors to provide coordinated support services and meet customer service expectations
