A division of my client's R & D is based in China and specialises in VOIP engineering ????? ?????.

The role of the Development Manager is to ensure products and components developed in China meet the requirements and are delivered on time. Reporting on progress of the team to the Sydney team and the China field Operations team is of extreme importance.

Role description:

• Manage product development projects from design through production.
• Define resources, schedules and project manage.
• Oversee the engineering ????? ?????.Status reporting to management Manage changes in scope and identify project issues.
• Implement design document control systems to protect trade secrets.
• This position is based south of Shanghai and will suit a person re-locating to China or prepared to spend a minimum of three years abroad.

Skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering ????? ?????.
• Formal project management qualifications.
• People management minimum 4 years
• Track record of leading a team that has taken product to market.
• Skills in Mechanical, electronic and embedded software.
• Experience in leading and managing China based engineering ????? ????? reports to USA or Australian head office.
• Professional experience working in the USA, European or Australian is preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin.
