    Job Description
    The Financial Markets eCommerce system developments team is a specialist team of individuals recruited to design, develop and enhance proprietary systems that will differentiate the bank in it’s core markets. eCommerce systems will be aimed at numerous customer markets including:- external customers via the internet, sophisticated customers via API/point-to-point connectivity, internal users trading on behalf of customers around the globe and finally connectivity into multi-dealer platforms.

    This is a key role in the department which will augment the eCommerce Development Team in Singapore and will specifically take lead for designing and owning the architecture, providing direction to the development community across all regions and at times be hands on development where required.


    Key Roles & Responsibilities
    • To design and enhance FM eCommerce application architecture.
    • To provide software development direction to the global development team.
    • To maintain, enhance and bug fix key components of the eCommerce architecture.
    • To conduct regular code reviews.
    • To ensure the development fits within the banks development guidelines and standards.
    • To design and implement the interfacing to downstream risk systems.



    Qualifications & Skills
    As the successful candidate you will have proven experience in architecture, designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing critical low latency applications in a Financial Markets environment.

    It is essential that you have solid C++ experience in multithreaded real-time systems environment. It is also very beneficial if the candidate has strong analytic skills and in a front-office environment, particularly on an eTrading system.

    You will ideally be familiar with some or all of the following:
    • Pricing Engines
    • RFQ ,Streaming and STP Modules
    • Experience of working with interbank and inter-dealer markets
    • FX, Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps


    Skill set required;
    • Significant hands on experience of developing C++ low latency, multi threaded applications in a Unix Environment
    • Working knowledge of Java Core, Swing and C# will be a distinct advantage
    • Experience in development (using n-tier architectures) and deployment of multi-user, high performance, multi-threaded, high availability fail-safe systems in a globally distributed environment
    • Good relational database skills (preferably Oracle)
    • eTrading/front office experience
    • Strong analytical/numerate skills.
    • Excellent Communication Skills.
    • Should bring ????? ????? sense of ownership and must be driven to deliver tasks to completion.
    • Investment Banking.
