The-Horizon radar. The Mt Everard receiver site is 40km from Alice Springs and the transmitter site,
is near the township of Harts Range, 160km from Alice Springs. To meet the needs of our technical
support teams, applications are now sought for a Receiver Maintenance Supervisor and a Computer
Network & Systems Officer both based at the Mt. Everard site. These positions provide fabulous

The radar system computers at the Receiver site are primarily RedHat Linux systems, with some legacy
VMS systems. Network equipment is primarily Cisco. You will need demonstrated ability in the support,
fault finding, rectification and upgrade of computer systems, networks and ancillary equipment.
An Information Systems degree is preferred and CCNA accreditation and/or comprehensive relevant
experience in a similar environment will be highly regarded.
