Department of Police / Alderley

Develop, implement, maintain and review the Calibration Laboratory’s quality management system.

Coordinate and perform quality management and NATA compliance audits and inter-laboratory comparisons.

Develop and evaluate policies and procedures for the Laboratory and implement corrective and preventative actions.

Provide advice and submissions to senior management and Laboratory staff on quality management issues.

Identify and coordinate administrative tasks and provide guidance to technical staff on a project basis.

Monitor and review the education and training requirements for Laboratory staff including administration of NATA proficiency testing.

Liaise and negotiate with clients and stakeholders involved in providing technical training and equipment.
